Step-by-step
1. Export the payout/reconciliation report
Use Shopify finance reports to capture gross, fees, refunds, and the payout ID/date. The bank statement alone is usually not enough.
2. Separate fees/refunds from gross
Keep separate columns for gross, fees, refunds, and net payout. This makes posting and VAT handling clearer.
3. Convert PDFs if needed and import using a profile
If you receive PDFs, convert them with KontoCSV. Then export using DATEV/Lexoffice profiles to avoid manual mapping.
