KontoCSV MCP Connector

KontoCSV provides an official remote MCP server for AI and agent platforms that need specialist bank-statement inspection, accounting conversion and validated export delivery. The connector uses the same KontoCSV processing and quality controls as the web application.

Remote MCP endpoint

https://www.kontocsv.de/api/mcp

Public directory environments can use KontoCSV's directory-safe profile at https://www.kontocsv.de/api/mcp/directory. That profile does not expose prices, credit purchases or checkout and can use only credits already available in the connected KontoCSV account.

What the connector can do

  • Inspect a bank statement before conversion without starting a paid job.
  • Identify compatible accounting export profiles and required statement metadata.
  • Prepare and start a conversion only after the user approves the action.
  • Track conversion and quality status.
  • Return a short-lived download link for an eligible completed export.

Authentication and data handling

Users authenticate with their own KontoCSV account through OAuth. The connector never asks for online-banking passwords, TANs or card credentials. File and account access remain scoped to the authenticated KontoCSV user.

For privacy, retention and processing details, see the KontoCSV privacy policy. For service terms, see the terms of service.

Connect from an MCP client

  1. Add the remote KontoCSV MCP endpoint in the client's connector or integration settings.
  2. Choose OAuth authentication when prompted.
  3. Sign in to KontoCSV and approve the requested MCP scope.
  4. Ask the client to inspect or convert a supported bank statement or transaction CSV.

Platform-specific availability and directory publication are controlled by the respective AI platform.
